Here is the link to the online show on Artsy: Back to Minimal

Minimalism was not only a movement that took place at a specific time and date, but it has also been an inspirational principle involving artists of all time. ‘Less is more’ is a motto created at first by the famous architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, but rather than being just an architectural principle it could be considered an approach to art chosen by the artists generally included in Spatialism, Conceptual Art, Analytic Painting, Bauhaus, unto contemporary art and documentary photography. The show includes photographers such as Davide Monteleone and Thomas Ruff, or Bauhaus milestones such as Joseph Albers, through Francois Morellet, one of the founders of GRAV, or Getulio Alviani.

To support this statement, we have collected works by artists of different periods, starting from the early Sixties through the Seventies to the Eighties, and of different backgrounds and movements. The collection displays how minimalism has inspired very different kinds of inquiries as a kind of common denominator that has not ceased to exist yet.
