In the realm of technology culture, an incubator is referred to as ‘an organization that helps people to start new companies, especially the ones involved in advance technology’.
The Art Incubator was founded for helping artists to create new art projects, producing favorable conditions for the development of new visual culture.
The Art Incubator is a project inspired by an idea of ‘incubation’: we support artists in the development of their individual projects and careers, by giving them professional support, advice and providing necessary contacts.
The Art Incubator is based also on scouting activities in order to find new innovative talents in the visual arts.
The Art Incubator organizes periodically courses on specific issues, individual and group portfolio lectures, editing courses. We are concentrating on photography, the par excellence medium of visual communication, but we also consider other art languages such as painting, sculpture, installations and video art.
