Glenda Cinquegrana: Art Consulting is the product of many years’ experience in the contemporary art sector, conducted through experiences matured in both public and private institutions, ranging from dealing responsibilities to consultancy and scientific research in cultural economics.
Glenda Cinquegrana: The Studio is a project developed in response to the needs, rising directly from demand, of an increasingly qualified market culture that currently exists in the contemporary art sector, extended and oriented to the needs of a consumer public. The Studio is an exhibition space organized within a private salon, and reserved for exclusively private uses. The Studio is in line with the direction outlined by recent curator experiences that have highlighted a crisis in the spectacular, mono-directional communication of the white cube model: The Studio was born of a consideration for the need to define new communication modalities that are closer to the one-to-one and on-demand models.
The Studio is a container created to tailor-fit each visitor. The Studio is inspired by a concept of experimentation and a laboratory approach, proffering exhibition activities conceived according to an a-systematic approach. More flexible and useful than a simple art gallery, The Studio offers free and rarified time through modalities that respond to individual ideas and events; it is flexible in the measure in which it places itself at the center of individual projects.
